The First Trimester of Pregnancy
The first trimester is the most important time for you and your baby. All of the major body systems are formed, and your body and emotions are quickly changing. It is important to eat healthy meals and to evaluate your lifestyle habits to make sure they are in the best interest of you and your baby. In this section, you will get a diagram of your body and your baby, a list of what you should eat, healthy eating during pregnancy, exercise, what to expect on your first prenatal visit, and questions to ask your health care provider during your prenatal visits. You will also learn about routine procedures and tests.
